Street Blasters - Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
Street Blasters is an arcade game made by an independent developer. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no advertising or tracking identity of its own. This page says exactly what it stores and why.
What Street Blasters stores on your device
- A random play token. The first time you play, the game generates a random 128-bit number and keeps it in your local storage. This is the only thing that makes your progress yours. It is not derived from anything about you or your device, and it is never linked to a name, an email address or an account.
- Device preferences. Music and sound volume, the hero you last played, the arena you last picked, and a cached copy of your display name, colour and picture.
- A per-session token, so that reconnecting during a co-op game returns you to your own slot instead of a new one. It is cleared when you exit the session.
If storage is unavailable, the game still runs. You simply start fresh each time.
What the game server stores
Street Blasters runs its multiplayer and its progression on the developer's own server, built on Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects. Against a profile identified only by a hash of your play token, it keeps:
- the display name, colour and picture you chose;
- coins, unlocked heroes, purchased items and your best score and wave;
- finished game results, which is what the public leaderboard is made of. A leaderboard row shows your chosen display name, your picture, your score and, for a team game, your team-mates' names.
There is no email address, no phone number, no real name, no date of birth and no location data anywhere in this. The developer cannot contact you and cannot tell who you are.
Your name is public
The display name you type is shown to other players in a game and on the
public leaderboard. Please do not type your real name or anything else
you would not want strangers to read. Names are filtered and trimmed
automatically, and a name that is rejected is simply shown as
PLAYER.
There is no chat in Street Blasters. Players cannot send each other text.
IP addresses
When your client connects to the game server, Cloudflare sees your IP address, as it does for any network traffic. The game uses it for one thing: a short-lived, in-memory counter, keyed by a hash of the address, that limits how many connections one address may open per minute so that a flood cannot take a game room down. The counter is discarded after about a minute and the address itself is never written to storage, never logged by the game, and never used to identify or profile anyone.
Cloudflare's own handling of network traffic is described at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Analytics
Street Blasters does not include third-party tracking cookies or cross-site identifiers.
Advertising
Street Blasters contains no third-party tracking or behavioral advertising code.
Children
Street Blasters is suitable for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect personal information at all.
Deleting your data
Clearing your local storage deletes the play token, and with it your only way back to your profile. If you would like the profile on the server erased as well, email contact@appworks247.com with the recovery code shown in the game under Profile → Change device, and it will be deleted.
